In 2024 the World Sudoku Championship (World Sudoku Championship) was held with China as the organizing country. The competition was held in Beijing and became the 17th edition.
After 9 preliminary rounds and the World Sudoku Championship 2024 playoffs, the top 10 players have been determined:
- Ming Letian, China
- Dai Tantan, China
- Hu Yuxuan, China
- Kota Morinishi, Japan
- Ken Endo, Japan
- Tiit Vunk, Estonia
- Yang Leduo, China
- Can Erturan, Turkey
- Thomas Snyder, USA
- Merker, Martin, Germany
China won the team competition. Japan took 2nd place and the USA 3rd place.
Yang Leduo from China was recognized as the best rookie.
